About Me

What I Help With

I support adults navigating a range of emotional and psychological concerns, including:

  1. Childhood and complex trauma.
    Inner child wounds and CPTSD.
  2. Anxiety and emotional overwhelm.
  3. Depression and low mood.
    Self-esteem and self-worth.
  4. Relationship and attachment difficulties.
  5. Family and interpersonal challenges.
  6. Emotional regulation.

My Approach to Therapy

I take an integrative, trauma-informed and client-centred approach to therapy. I do not believe therapy is one-size-fits-all, so I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs, goals, personality, and experiences.

My work may incorporate:

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
  • Mindfulness-based approaches.
  • Compassion-Focused Therapy . Narrative and experiential approaches.
  • Compassionate Inquiry.
  • Inner Child Healing.
  • Hypnotherapy.

My approach is not simply about managing symptoms. It is about helping you understand yourself, make sense of your story, process what you have experienced, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

My own journey into healing began through transcendental meditation and a deeper exploration of inner work. Over the years, I have continued to deepen my understanding of trauma through professional training, personal growth, and studies in Asia.

I have also completed a one-year intensive Compassionate Inquiry training with Dr. Gabor Maté, further deepening my understanding of trauma, addiction, attachment, and the relationship between emotional pain and the body.

One of my favourite parts of this work is witnessing the moment someone begins to understand themselves differently—to realise that they are not “broken,” and that there is a reason they became who they are.

Outside the therapy room, I’m just Abby.

I love travelling, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures. I enjoy trying out new recipes, spending time with my family, and, yes, I will absolutely dance in the rain when the mood strikes.

I’m also a lifelong student of the human mind, so there’s a good chance you’ll find me learning something new, having a deep conversation, or being curious about why people do the things they do.

For me, the most meaningful part of this work is simple: watching people heal, reconnect with themselves, and begin to feel whole again.

It would be an honour to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
